Until then, I was a researcher in optics at the CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research). I chose to leave the academic path to dedicate myself entirely to an artistic trajectory and to become an artist photographer specialized in scientific themes.

The heart of my artistic research is still in laboratory and borrows almost the same material as the one used for my scientific work.
I am particularly interested in the light itself as a plastic object, which I can bend, curve and texture as it propagates, until it hits the sensitive surface of the camera to create in an image a whole new universe.

My second object of interest is the concept of the laboratory as a privileged creative workshop for the researcher. I explore the relationship between the researcher and his or her experience, with the aim of producing images that reflect an aesthetic and realistic vision of the product of his or her research.

On both sides of the Art and Science bridge, I place myself at the interface to put science at the service of my art and my art at the service of science. Because in my eyes these two worlds are far from being as distant as they seem at first sight...
